Construction of Slope Protection Works Along Ingalera River, Barangay Ano, San Carlos City, Pangasinan

San Carlos City, Pangasinan- The Department of Public Works and Highways Pangasinan Fourth District Engineering Office, headed by OIC-District Engineer Mel Harvey A. Gonzales, has successfully completed the construction of slope protection works along the Ingalera River in Barangay Ano, San Carlos City, Pangasinan. This infrastructure project stands as a testament to the government's unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of its constituents.

The primary objective of this project was to safeguard the riverbank, mitigate erosion, and provide flood protection to the residents of Barangay Ano. The construction features a concrete revetment supported by Z-type sheet piles, extending a total length of 152.90 linear meters.

The project, which signifies the government's dedication to quality infrastructure development in the region, was completed on July 25, 2023, with the diligent efforts of the DPWH Pangasinan Fourth DEO.

The newly constructed Slope Protection Works along Ingalera River now serves as a vital asset to the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents in the face of potential riverbank instability and flooding. This accomplishment underscores the DPWH’s commitment to enhancing the region’s infrastructure and ultimately improving the lives of the people it serves.
